Webcast Troubleshooting

Thank you for joining us for a P4P Planning Network Webcast. On this page you will find a list of questions to assist you if you are having technical difficulties viewing the webcast.

1. What browsers are supported?

Livestream (the service we use to stream our webcasts) recommends using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Please note that if you are using Internet Explorer, versions 10 or 11 is recommended, as older versions can have issues.

2. What kind of internet connection do I need to view the webcast?

Livestream recommends viewing the webcast from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of at least 700Kbps.

To test your speed, go to Speedtest.net.

Bandwidth fluctuates constantly (especially on WiFi and mobile internet), so running 3 tests is recommended.

3. Does my browser require any plugins?

Keeping your plugins and software up to date will help ensure Livestream videos will be as reliable as possible.

Always use the latest version of Adobe Flash. Check your version of Adobe Flash (and upgrade if necessary) by clicking here.

4. Would you like to see if your computer set-up works?

Click here to try to run a test of your computer set-up. Click watch again and play, the video should begin streaming automatically with audio if your browser, internet and flash player are up-to-date.
